Info | Small compact plant with serrated leaf edge. This along with 'Shark's Tooth', a sibling were the result of my efforts to produce serrated hosta. In both seedlings I was able to achieve some success and knowledge about this phenotype. It is the result of a cross between 'Teaspoon' and venusta. The dull grey green color from the pollen parent venusta and shorter plant growth added a robustness to the delicate round leaves of 'Teaspoon'. 'Queue' is a semi-circle pin cushion of a hosta with sewing needle projection type scapes of small lavender flowers at the height of summer. It is a robust grower that clumps quickly. |
