Info | About five years ago Dave found this intriguing sport on his 'Whirlwind' plant and separated it off to grow on. It became 'Ocean Isle Tornado', the third in his "Ocean Isle" series. This strong-growing hosta looks nothing like its parent, having a narrow ribbon of gold down the center of a deep green leaf. If you look closely you can see that the veins in the gold center are very close together - a sure sign this plant will be stable. |
