Info | Unusual sport of 'June'. Special! This is a unique sport of H. 'June' from Marco Fransen ... upright yellowish-green leaves have a very irregular blue border with lots of streaking toward the center. Does not get as large as it's parent but is still a vigorous grower and will be topped with lavender flowers. Big hit at the AHS National Convention in Minneapolis. A rare growth condition known as fasciation seems to run through the whole plant...the crown, the leaves and most noticeably the flowers and is not seen in any other hosta. You can see this trait in the Dragon Willow (salix sachalinensis 'Sekka'). |
