InfoThis plant, 'Pebbled Jade', is one of the nicest examples of rugosity we've seen yet! It has very strong puckering that reaches into every inch of the mature leaves. Other plants that show this level of rugosity are somewhat iffy growers like 'Midas Touch' and other than 'Witch's Brew' don't get very large. This is certainly the largest plant yet with puckering at a world-class level. Here's what Rick has to say about it:
'Pebbled Jade' is a superior cultivar that I have used as a pollen donor for strong pebbling. Outstanding plant starts out with glaucus bloom on leaf surfaces which gives it a very pale jade green color. As the bloom melts the leaf color becomes a rich jade green by mid-summer as shown.
'Pebbled Jade' forms huge mounding clump that is full and rounded at 6’+ wide x 34" high with near white blooms in mid July. Jade green very heavily pebbled leaves are 7" x 10" and have a crisp very tapered tip. Leaves can be so corrugated they fold in places.
