InfoDave Jennings of the upstate New York area welcomed all the First Look attendees to his garden during last year's meeting in Schenectady. He had an amazing collection growing in his fairly small yard, including a few hot new plants he plans to introduce himself with the "Hasamona" designation first in the name. That's "Ha - sa - mo - na", not "Quasimodo", so get it straight! 'Hasamona Daniel's Delight' is an attractive new seedling with an interesting history. It was purchased by Dave at the inaugural First Look meeting after it was donated for the auction as an unnamed seedling by Jim Anderson of Winterberry Farms. We believe it comes from Mary Chastain's famous "Lakeside" breeding lines. It hasn't bloomed yet, so no info on fertility. Well received in its debut at First Look 4, garnering a Second Place ribbon for Dave. This is a good-looking plant, coveted by those who saw it in person.
