Descriptions (from various sources):
What do hosta folks want in a "dream hosta"? Frequently, they want it to be very dark green with white flowers. Add a very upright habit and highly cupped leaves and you have 'Cup of Grace'. This hosta is very well proportioned and exhibits classic grace.
This introduction from Doug has a lot of great things going for it ...very dark green leaves are highly cupped and held in an upright fashion. These traits coupled with good substance and topped with white flowers create a very graceful clump that will stand out in any garden.
A dynamic connection between Halcyon and some pollen from one of my earlier creations - one that wasn't good enough to make the grade we have since refer to it as "Spoons" ( a 'Breeders Choice' / OP seedling ). Dark green deeply cupped rugose leaves arch toward the heavens. Mardy instantly came up with it's name 'Cup of Grace'.
A good grower that is not bothered by insects/slugs.
