This Benedict blue is a 6th or 7th generation hybrid of H. 'Dorset Blue'. Over time it forms a small clump of thick wedge-shaped leaves with good substance. Pale lavender flowers open in late summer. H. 'Blue Sliver' is rarely seen in hosta gardens.
