Descriptions (from various sources):
This odd 'Venetian Blue' mutation comes up very blue and stays that wat through the first half of the season. After the wax melts down it becomes the darkest shiny green in the garden. Leaves are long and squiggly on this slow-growing little hosta, and they are thickly substanced too. It doesn't flower much but has good pollen and can set seed, although it will usually just set a few pods. We're guessing it is some odd ploidy form, but don't really know.
