| Info | A fast-growing seedling of 'Lakeside Leprechaun' selected for vigor, color, and symmetrical form with gently ruffled leaves. It emerges a pale green then brightens to a chartreuse tone that holds all season. It explodes into bloom on [David's] birthday, like sparklers atop a birthday cake. The name reflects that feature, and honoring the AHS's 50th birthday. Fast-growing, medium-sized clump with good color and slightly ruffled leaf edges. Makes a tidy mound with many lavender flowers on candlestick scapes. |
