Info | ='Jilin'. Received this collection from Dr. James Waddick of Kansas City, MO, years ago. He received this as a wild collection from Dr. Zhao Yu Tang, who collected it along the North Korean border in Jilin Province, PRC. It has proved to be an exceptional plant, a true groundcover hosta. It is highly stoniferous, making a uniform carpet of attractive upright foliage. It flowers heavily in late July to August, and the flowers are very beautiful and good for cutting. This is a great landscape plant. |
