Info | Mickfield intro.
A selection from seedlings, the pod parent being H. 'Venucosa'.
It preceded today's red-stemmed cultivars and was named for it's pink stems and the
flower bud, which resembles a birds head.
It is a compact plant with neat mid-green leaves and has been popular with customers.
Leaves 3" long x 2" wide, held on burgundy, spotted stems.
Flowers dark purple. Our own, unregistered introduction (Mickfield).
