Info | This extremely rare plant was registered by Belle Gardens in 1994 but is not widely available in the trade. A cross of [H. 'William Lachman' x montana] this one has some GREAT GENES! A stunner from 50 paces, DISTINCTIVE is an understatement! It produces viable seed on "21 inch high scapes of burgundy becoming burgundy blushed cream" according to the registration. Very attractive hybrid (William Lachman x montana) from Nancy Krul, this is probably her best plant. Not yet widely available, it remains an old-fashioned high-priced collector's plant. Distinctive narrow white centers offer excellent contrast on good dark-green leaves. |
