Info | This one was raised in a bad family --- It's mother was 'Striptease', and it has siblings named 'String Bikini', 'G-String', and 'Lapdance', so need we say more? Actually it's a wildly attractive sport of the Rick Thompson classic, 'Striptease', that should stand out anywhere you put it. 'Peepshow' is the name of this introduction from Scott Crabb that was offered last year for the first time. This one is not available anywhere but here! It's about all you could ask for in a splashy exclamation point of a hosta. We know you hybridizers out there are wondering if it's fertile -- well, we're not sure, but think it should set some seed. As a 'Fortunei Hyacinthina' streaked form, it could replace the failing 'Banana Sundae' as a very good pod parent ('Robert Frost' is one example of a plant that streaked 'Hyacinthina' for a parent). |
